Kitchen Table is an anthology of recipes and stories as shared by residents of Metro Detroit. This project aims to continue an on-going dialogue of spaces and people that make our home, by recalling childhood memories of people that cooked us our favorite meals, and of spaces we grew up in. Through a tapestry of diverse cultures, we explore nuances of childhood memories and food that, although simple, carry such meaning in our lives. Compiled by Shubalakshmi Shekar in Detroit, 2023-24.
